Ann Anderst is the Vice President for Healing the Children which oversees 15 chapters throughout the US. Healing the Children (HTC) was founded in Spokane, WA and over the past 39 years has provided critical medical care to more than 277,844 children from more than 100 countries worldwide.
Anderst is a 17 year member of the Rotary Club of Everett Port Gardner (serving twice as the club’s president) and was the executive director of the Healing the Children Oregon and Western Washington Chapter for five years.
Over the past 25 years, she has worked with many stellar non-profit organizations such as the YMCA, American Red Cross, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Anderst has been a volunteer, executive director, and fund development professional. She has worked on all sides of the non-profit sector and shares knowledge and lessons learned to help others excel.
Ann Anderst is a former Peace Corps Volunteer and Pacific Northwest Regional Peace Corps Recruiter which ignited her passion for global health and international development early in her career. Over the past nine years, she has made 8 international service trips to the countries of Guatemala, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
Anderst lives in Snohomish, WA is married and has three young adult children. Her husband and oldest daughter are both former Peace Corps Volunteers.
